Ingredients

Thanksgiving Margarita
  • 2 oz blanco tequila
  • 1 oz orange liqueur
  • 1.5 oz cranberry juice
  • 1 oz apple cider
  • 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 oz maple syrup
  • 1 Ice
  • 1 Cinnamon sugar for the rim
  • 1 Fresh cranberries and a rosemary sprig for garnish

Method

Rim and chill
  1. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a glass, then dip the rim in cinnamon sugar so it coats evenly.
  2. Fill the prepared glass with ice to keep the cocktail cold while you mix.
Shake and serve
  1. Shake blanco tequila, orange liqueur, cranberry juice, apple cider, fresh lime juice, and maple syrup with ice for 15 seconds until well chilled.
  2. Strain the drink into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
  3. Garnish with fresh cranberries and a rosemary sprig, then serve.

Notes

For the cleanest rim, keep the glass dry before dipping so the cinnamon sugar adheres. Store any pre-mixed cocktail base (without ice) in the refrigerator up to 24 hours, then shake with ice and strain; freezing is not recommended. For a lower-sugar option, reduce maple syrup to 1/4 oz or use a sugar-free maple syrup substitute if desired.
